Caring for Congolese Children participated at the carnival by selling homemade cakes offered by members of the executive committee. The cakes sold very well and proceeds of nearly £160 were achieved. The opportunity was taken to distribute Charity leaflets to the public and some useful contacts were made with potential donor organisations.

Friday, July 28th, 2006Caring for Congolese Children was appointed in July 2006 as Fern Hill Primary School’s principal charity. Additionally, the school has confirmed it would like to participate in a twinning arrangement with a Congolese primary school, Ecole Primaire Cardinal Malula, located in Mont Ngafula, Kinshasa.
Caring for Congolese Children is greatly looking forward to working closely with Fern Hill Primary School regarding fundraising events and the school twinning project which, we are sure, will prove beneficial to the young pupils of both schools.
