Thanks to the generosity of Fern Hill Primary School, in Kingston upon Thames, UK, Caring for Congolese Children was able to successfully complete the first of several planned projects at a primary school in Kinshasa, Ecole Primaire Cardinal Malula, Mont N’Gafula.
The school had previously suffered from inadequate water storage facilities, dilapidated toilets and a lack of drinking water. Happily, the pupils and staff now have clean and plentiful drinking water, new toilets and washbasins, thus greatly improving pupil comfort and hygiene standards. We antici
pate that this, in turn, will contribute to improvements in the pupils’ educational results.
